INTRODUCTIONThe Nikon D4s is the flagship DSLR from Nikon. Made in Japan by the Nikon corporation from 2014 to probably 2016 when the next olympic games will happen. BEST SUITED FOR:
PERSONAL NOTESFor action, event, and many assigments, it's simply the best there is. Fast focus, fast drive, high ISO in low light, it's just amazing. Put this thing at ISO 25000 in black and white and it does miracles. People at weddings are amazed that it can shoot high quality photos without a flash. On the other hand, its big, heavy, and expensive. I personally rent big DSLRs when I need them for special occasions, I do not use them often enough to actually buy one. CONCLUSIONIf you are a photographer that see a lot of sports or action, the Nikon D4s and their sisters from Canon are for you. But if you do more big prints than photos for newspapers, then they are not appropriate at all. You need more resolution, even if it means less speed. A D810 would better in that case. I'm very curious to see what Fuji will put on the market in the next few years. Their X series are getting better and better... PHOTO SAMPLESVERDICT:
