INTRODUCTIONThe Minolta X-700 is a 35mm film SLR camera made in Japan by Minolta in 1981. BEST SUITED FOR:
PERSONAL NOTESThe Minolta X-700 is a manual, program and aperture priority SLR, it has a very good finder and matte screen, it has access to incredible lenses and it all fits in a small package. The focusing screen incorporates microprisms around a split screen, similar to the Pentax ME, I like it a lot. The X-700 includes all the features you need to go have fun shooting. The X-700 have everyting you need, but to my taste, it does not feel strong, sturdy, built like a tank. It mostly feels plastic, but it's only a feeling, I know people that used X-7000 for years without any issue. CONCLUSIONThe Minolta X-700 is one of the best SLR you can get for you buck. Excellent matte screen, good modes, access to great Rokkor lenses, ect. If you want a good 35mm SLR with access to a great system for cheap, this is one of your best candidates. PHOTO SAMPLESVERDICT:
