INTRODUCTIONThe Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 (or Lumix G7) is a mirrorless camera made by Matsushita Electronics since 2015. BEST SUITED FOR:
PERSONAL NOTESAs a mirrorless camera, the Lumix G7 is quite light and small. It's compatible with the "four thirds" lens mount and can mount Panasonic or Leica lenses. The focus control is on the back near your thumb, which can be both handy and tricky. It's close by when needed, but also easy to trip without noticing, so you need to get used to it. The autofocus is quite fast, which is very useful for street photo. This camera is silent. So silent that you wonder : did I just took a picture or not ? Which again is great for street photo. CONCLUSIONThe Lumix G7 is a nice mirrorles camera, I would recommend it for street photo, if you are going into a mirrorless system. PHOTO SAMPLESVERDICT:
