PERSONAL NOTES

Both Lomo LC-A and LC-A+ are cult cameras, the only differences I noticed are the markings are different, LC-A is in Cyrillic, and LC-A+ is in English. The other difference is the sensitivity scale, LC-A is GOST and LC-A+ is in ISO. They are at the root of the Austrian lomographic movement. The Lomo LC-A was made in USSR for a while, then Austrians started to use it and do art with it. Soon, lomography was booming. Later, they adapted the Russian model to the Western market and renamed it LC-A+.

The Lomo LC-A (or LC-A+) is simple to use, load a film, set your ISO, and play! The Focus is simple, it uses zone focussing, you control focus with a lever on the left side, while aperture control is on the other side.

The design of this camera is pretty good. It is very compact, easily pocketable. The lens and viewfinder are protected by a integrated cover.

This is an easy to use camera, just point, click, and have a lot of fun!

CONCLUSION

No wonder why the Lomo LC-A (or LC-A+) is a cult camera, it's compact and very fun to use, and it gives that "lomographic" look so many people are looking for.
