This camera appeared around 1998, and it's part of the Lomography movement that came from Austria.

The Lomo Action Sampler is a special camera that has 4 different lenses, that exposes the same scene at slightly different times. The shutters are released at different times within about half of a second.

The results are similar to the movement studies made by Edward Muybridge. Common subjects for this camera includes moving objects or people.

In my opinion, The Action Sampler is ok for the study of moving subjects, but the Lomo Oktomak is much better, it has 8 lenses.

CONCLUSION

The Lomo Action Sampler is a nice camera to experiment with moving subjects, but after a while, it gets boring.
