PERSONAL NOTES

The Kodak Tele-Instamatic 708 is the first camera I used. Even if I was just a kid, I remember that camera like it was yesterday, the sound of the shutter, the click clack sound of the lens selector, the cranking sound of the advance... Photography was like magic to me, small objects were able to capture moments in time and make images out of them. I was fascinated by cameras. Today, I use many cameras, and I even make some.

The Tele-Instamatic 708 is a very simple camera to use, select lens, either a wide or tele, they both are inside the camera body, just flip a switch to select. Then, point and shoot. Use a flashbar if needed.

It has a door on the front to protect the finder and lenses.

As it uses 110 film, the biggest print you can do is no more than a 4x6 inches, otherwise the quality goes down.

CONCLUSION

The Kodak Tele-Instamatic 708 has a sentimental value for me, but it is not a very good camera, in fact I do not recommend anything that uses 110 film.
