The Kiev 6C is a medium format SLR. With its Pentacon Six mount, it gives you access to very nice Ukrainian lenses.

This huge camera was made by the Arsenal factory in Ukraine.

The first thing you notice with this camera is that it's big. I mean, huge! No wonder why they say it's a SLR on steroids...

The 6C was my first medium format Kiev, and It was already broken when I got it. So I ordered a brand new Kiev 60 to replace it.

One thing special about the 6C is that the shutter is on the left side.

CONCLUSION

The Kiev 6C is not manufactured anymore. If you want good glass for cheap, buy the Kiev 60 or a ARAX instead.
