The Gevaert Gevabox is a box camera made in Germany around 1951.

Good for nothing!

PERSONAL NOTES

As a later box camera model, The Gevabox has some features usual box camera don't have. Like bigger finders, flash sync port, remote relase and tripod socket. This Gevabox one of the best box camera I ever used because of these features. But, a box camera is still just a box camera. Optical quality is poor and shutter speed is very limited, often only one speed is available, making the use of these cameras rather difficult. On the positive side, the Gevabox has 3 aperture settings.

CONCLUSION

If you want a cute opject for decoration, box cameras are cheap. If you want to use one, arm yourself with patience and don't have big expectations.
