INTRODUCTIONThe Fuji X-E5 is a mirrorless camera made by Fuji in 2025. This specific version is a Full Spectrum I had converted. BEST SUITED FOR:
PERSONAL NOTESI do infra-red photography since at least 20 years. First with film, then on regular digital cameras, then I had converted a few other cameras, a Leica, and some Fuji. The last one I used for many years now is a Fuji X-A2, a decent 16 MP compact camera. But without a viewfinder, making IR photography is somewhat cumbersome with the bright sunlight. On the contrary, the X-E5 is a beast of resolution so I can now print big, and use the viewfinder to compose with more precision.CONCLUSIONThe Fuji X-E5 is hands down the best camera I ever used, period. A massive creative tool, with all bells and whistles, in a very lightweight package. And now, I have one converted in Full Spectrum for even more fun! VERDICT:
