PERSONAL NOTES

Fuji made 6x9, 6x8, 6x7, 6x6, and 6x45 rangefinder cameras. The Fuji GSW690III is the latest version of the wide angle 6x9cm rangefinder cameras from Fuji. It's precise, comfortable, but huge. No surprise it's called the "Texas Leica", where everything is bigger. The camera delivers high image quality, it has a bright modern rangefinder, a good grip, and 2 shutter button (front and top).

Over decades, Fuji made many innovative cameras: panoramic, studio, tilt/shift, oversized, compacts, ect... The photographic community benefited from these innovations, I am greatful to have tried so many nice cameras, and to my surprise, the company that made the most interesting cameras is not Canon or Nikon, but Fuji.

CONCLUSION

If image quality is important and size doesn't matter, then a Fuji GSW690III is a good prospect for you.
