INTRODUCTIONThe Canon FT QL is a 35mm film SLR camera made in Japan by Canon from 1966 to 1972. BEST SUITED FOR:
PERSONAL NOTESThe Canon FT QL has a good feel to it, it feels heavy and strong, it won't break soon. This camera was intended for professionnals, and had access to many lenses and accessories. The "QL" means it has the Quick Load system, an easy way to load your film when you're in a rush. It works very well. Canon's Quick Load system The meter is only informative, you have to set yourself the aperture and speed. The finder is not as great as the Canon New F-1. There is no split screen, only a small microprism patch. Not that great. And this matte screen is not interchangeable. CONCLUSIONThe Canon FT QL is a good solid camera made to last. But just because of its so-so matte screen, I would suggest you try something better, like a Canon New F-1. PHOTO SAMPLESVERDICT:
