PERSONAL NOTES

The Canon EOS 650 was the first of the EOS series of cameras. In the late 80s, it became our family camera.

The Canon EOS 650 is a simple camera, easy to use, it's user friendly, but can be quite tricky when unfamilliar with photography or with more modern camera designs. The camera is light, plasticky, and the autofocus is good for its era.

Up here in Canada, I used this camera for a lot of long exposures and mostly during winter. The battery tend to die quick, and is not available in every corner store. I soon learned to bring extra batteries in the caamera bag.

For me, the Canon EOS 650 has sentimental value, as I used it a lot, I feel a connection just when touching it, I kind of have a physical memory with cameras.

CONCLUSION

The Canon EOS 650 is a good and cheap way of experimenting film if you already have modenr Canon glass. Other than that, buy something even older with more control.
